Workshop to web

I’m investigating a website where I can post my work. They take care of producing prints and framing– if the buyer chooses. It gives the option of different print sizes and frames, with an option to buy the original. There is a free one-month trial, which I would like to take advantage of. I think that what needs to happen is for me to create a load of new pieces so that when I start my trial membership, I start with a bang! The question is how many pieces do I need to make? How long do I give myself? Those are tough questions– which makes it difficult to come up with a plan– but I’m putting my heart into it!BW Dahlia 3For now, I’d like to let go of computing and go make art!

About Rachel Heu

"Creativity is an act of defiance. You're challenging the status quo. You're questioning accepted truths and principles. You're asking three universal questions that mock conventional wisdom: Why do I have to obey the rules? Why can't I be different? Why can't I do it my way?" --Twyla Tharp, The Creative Habit: Learn It and Use It For Life (pg. 133)

Oooooo, I like this one. It reminds me of those dot drawings I did in school. This has so much texture. So many tiny intricate elements. I could enjoy this for at least an hour, finding little hidden treasures in every nook and cranny.
