My Word Art: Hope

From my 35 Words: Hope, 3"x5" collage with colored pencil and marker

“The grand essentials of happiness are: something to do, something to love, and something to hope for.”

–Allen K. Chalmers

About Rachel Heu

"Creativity is an act of defiance. You're challenging the status quo. You're questioning accepted truths and principles. You're asking three universal questions that mock conventional wisdom: Why do I have to obey the rules? Why can't I be different? Why can't I do it my way?" --Twyla Tharp, The Creative Habit: Learn It and Use It For Life (pg. 133)

Of course I love this because you gave it to me. I’m inspired each day as it rests in a very prominent place. It will always be a treasure to me. Between my “Hope” card and my “I Can Do Hard Things” quilt hanging I feel very empowered and ready to tackle anything that comes my way! I love that my sisters are so talented! Rub off on me!!!

I’m happy that you treasure it. That means a great deal to me. About you being talented… please… don’t be so modest! I love your painting too… and your quilts… and those fun, colorful placemats you gave to me! I feel so blessed!

Very Cool. Hope is one of my favorite words. I have a couple of plaques in my house to remind me to have hope. Thanks.
