My 35 Words: Energy

My 35 Words: Energy

Energy

This is a 3″x5″ piece, the media are marker and colored pencil; from my series: My 35 Words: Energy. I get my energy from being around art and colors that I love. For this one, it had to be red and orange– with green thrown in as a color opposite. Can you see the glow from it? What gives you your energy?

About Rachel Heu

"Creativity is an act of defiance. You're challenging the status quo. You're questioning accepted truths and principles. You're asking three universal questions that mock conventional wisdom: Why do I have to obey the rules? Why can't I be different? Why can't I do it my way?" --Twyla Tharp, The Creative Habit: Learn It and Use It For Life (pg. 133)
