My 35 Words: !Fight!

What is so important about the word, Fight? I’ll tell you. “Fight” is the sizzle; the bhut jolokia; the passion that lights you on fire. It gives you tenacity and makes you not give up. Moving forward,  it’s the holy spice that makes you stick up for yourself and your dreams. “Fight” is about vivacious personal integrity and the will to follow through with what you truly believe in your heart of hearts is right and true.

Fight is for the brave risk-taker in you!

My 35 Words: Fight

From my art series: 35 Words, the word “Fight” because I like a good fight! Rawr! 3″x5″ collage, marker, colored pencil. (*Note about the Fleur de Lis: in the Middle Ages it was the symbol for the 6th Born. I’m the 6th in my brothers and sisters– that’s why you’re gonna see it pop up in my word art.)

About Rachel Heu

"Creativity is an act of defiance. You're challenging the status quo. You're questioning accepted truths and principles. You're asking three universal questions that mock conventional wisdom: Why do I have to obey the rules? Why can't I be different? Why can't I do it my way?" --Twyla Tharp, The Creative Habit: Learn It and Use It For Life (pg. 133)

Trust and Honesty!! two things males this day and time (and for longer than that) don’t get the meaning or concept of this and other very meaningful words.

    • Hi Mary, I can agree that Trust and Honesty are so important to living a happy life. I have plans to post a word that honors this concept very soon. Thank you for your thoughts on this. –Rachel
